Calvert Historical Society-
October 2008 - Present
|
the Calvert County Historical Society, Inc. was founded in 1953 to preserve the history and records. We help edit their website, promote and showcase their programs on the internet. We are doing this by creating a online gallery of events. We also create a blog to post events, pieces of articles from the societies newsletter and historian to get the public interested in the counties history. We currently are working on an interactive map that displays all the historic landmarks within the county a virtual map so to speak.

We had it inside our heads before than, and knew once we retain the knowledge in order to build a website from scratch that it would be one of the websites we would actually publish online . It is a place where we have posted most of our research and hope to connect with others like ourselves. We hope that it will become one of the major reenacting communities online. This website really did not form until November 2007, and was published until February 2008. |
