ABOUT ME:
Back in the Fall of 2006 I began to learn how to use Graphic and Web designing software. Of which I learn how to create digitized illustrations and create user friendly websites. I continue to learn the basic art elements of drawing, painting and photography. My first pursuit in art was in photography, ceramics, and drawing. Graphic design has not only enhanced my drawing and photography abilities but I believe my knowledge in Graphic Design has enhances those abilities as well. I believe art is a frame of mind, not whether one can do it well or not. An artist needs to learn how to take chances, to experiment and go forward no matter what obstacles they may encounter. I'm learning that the best pieces I've done have been pieces that involved a little experimenting and thinking outside the box. Some of my most memorable photographs have been images where I experiment with angles, color, texture and subject.

INSPIRATION:
My inspiration comes from the works of long ago artist such as the Medieval monks to the Art Nouveau artist Mucha. Throughout my studies I’ve created several posters and logos that were influenced by these very different Art movements. My art has also been inspired by the media especially films such as Pirates of the Caribbean. I hope to continue to study many different Art movements to produce original modern works of art. Before creating any piece of art I decide what inspires me at the time and what would inspire others. Much of the material that inspires me to continue exploring art is through my travels and looking at the world around me one frame at a time. I always carry a camera with because I use many of my photographs in my artwork. When a piece is finally completed I feel satisfied but am always open to the idea of exploring different art styles in order to expand and develop my personal style.
INTERESTS:
I enjoy painting, drawing, photography, ceramic, exploring and traveling to battlefields and historic sites. I am taking a step back in time by becoming an 18th Century reenactor.
CURRENT PROJECTS:
Currently I am working with two nonprofit organizations who wish to redesign their websites and graphic material by simplifying what they already have in order to draw in viewers to important information. While learning various web techniques I was unable to learn while attending college. Photography has been a very important medium in my artwork and am currently experimenting different angles and camera techniques to advance my photography skills to a whole new level.
